LIC Ireland Limited Terms and Conditions of Competition Entry – “Farmer tour to New Zealand, November 2025” Competition.
The Competition
1. This “Farmer tour to New Zealand, November 2025” competition (the Competition) is run by LIC Ireland Limited (LIC Ireland). LIC Ireland can be contacted in relation to this Competition by emailing admin@liceurope.com.
2. The Competition will begin on the 1st December 2024 and will continue until 30 April 2025 (the Competition Period).
3. The winner of the Competition will be selected at random by LIC Ireland in June 2025. The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
4. To enter, an entrant must:
(a) Be 18 years of age or older;
(b) Agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Competition Entry;
(c) Provide his or her full and correct name, address, email address and contact telephone number; and
(d)Remain a purchasing customer of LIC genetics for spring 2025
Conditions of Competition Entry.
NOTE: Any entry which fails to meet the entry criteria set out in these Terms and Conditions of Competition Entry will be invalid. Only one entry per person is allowed. LIC Ireland is not responsible for any late, lost or incorrectly submitted entries.
5. Any entries that are illegible or incomplete, or contain offensive, fraudulent or unlawful content may be disqualified and removed from the Competition at LIC Irelands sole discretion.
6. Current employees or contractors of LIC Ireland or its parent company Livestock Improvement Corporation Limited (LIC) or any of either companies’ associated agencies/distributors or suppliers are not permitted to enter the Competition.
Prize
7. The winner of the Competition will receive two economy class airfares to New Zealand and hotel accommodation for two adults for the duration of the tour (Prize).
8. LIC Ireland will make all reasonable endeavours to contact the winner before 30 June 2025. The winner will be notified by LIC Ireland contacting them on the details provided in the entry.
9. The Prize cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
10. LIC Ireland will make reasonable attempts to contact the winner. If LIC Ireland is not able to get in contact with the winner drawn before 30 June 2025, or the winner is unable to accept the Prize, LIC Ireland reserves the right to redraw the Prize and the previous winner will have no further claim to the Prize.
11. Personal information provided by an entrant in submitting an entry into the Competition will be used for the purpose of administering the Competition and for any other purposes referred to in these Terms and Conditions of Competition Entry. LIC Ireland takes its privacy obligations seriously and refers you to our privacy policy for this Competition which you can find at www.lic.ie.
12.. By entering this Competition, the entrant will be deemed to have consented to their name being used for promotional purposes relating to the Competition by LIC Ireland or LIC including but not limited to their name being posted on LIC and LIC Ireland’s social media platforms and websites.
General Terms
13. By entry into the Competition, the entrant has agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Competition Entry.
14. The Competition and these Terms and Conditions of Competition Entry are governed by the laws of Ireland.
15.. LIC Ireland will not be liable to any entrant or any other person for any loss or damage, however caused, arising out of any entrant’s participation in the Competition. To the extent that LIC Ireland cannot disclaim its liability its liability will in any case be limited to the value of the Prize.
17. LIC Ireland reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to cancel the Competition or amend these Terms and Conditions of Competition Entry.
